Each item is meticulously handcrafted with the finest Domestic and Exotic Hardwoods and materials available.
Hard Maple, Curly Maple, Cherry, Apple, Walnut, Coco Bolo, various Rosewoods, Ebony, Mahogany, Citron Wood, Satinwood, Lacewood, Snakewood, Mahogany, Curly Koa, Purpleheart, Bloodwood, Yellowheart, Yew, Laurel, Exotic Burls etc.
*All woods are either fair trade or damage harvested. (Storm, Natural Disaster, etc.)*
I also use Abalone, Mother of Pearl, Brass, Silver, Gold, Copper, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, and various semi-precious Stones to embellish my designs.
The metal Hairclips for the barrettes are made in France and are the best quality available in the industry. They are nickel-free and longer lasting than any hairclip you'll find on the market. All the other metals I use are top-quality Chromed Steel, 14K Gold Filled, 24K Gold Filled, Silver plated and Gunmetal Black Anodized Steel.
Most creations are finished with a High Gloss Buffed Lacquer (HGBL) to protect and enhance the intricate inlay and design. Some pieces are also available in a more unfinished, natural look with the "Oil & Wax" Finish.
